Refunds and attendance

These rules apply only to in-person programmes, private desks, and Saturday studios at Beam Core Analysis Academy. We do not sell shipped goods or self-paced video catalogues. Last updated 19 August 2026.

Eligibility

A refund request must name the sitting, the date, and the person who booked. Write to desk@toolkitbeamcore.click or call +995 599 120 346. We confirm in writing. Verbal promises at the door are not enough.

Timeframe

Full refund of fees paid (including the deposit) is available if you cancel at least seven full days before the first evening of an intensive or circle, or at least 48 hours before a private desk or Saturday studio. The clock uses Georgia time and the start time on your confirmation.

Partial refunds

If you leave an intensive after it has started, we refund unused evenings minus the deposit and minus any printed pack already issued, provided you tell us before the next class. Circles billed as a four-week block follow the same idea: unused weeks after notice, deposit retained. A Saturday studio that has already laid out your prints is not split once the afternoon has begun.

Non-refundable items

The deposit that holds an intensive or circle chair is kept if you cancel inside the seven-day window, because the chair was taken off the board. Printed packs once taken home are not returnable. Private desks cancelled inside 48 hours, and no-shows, are charged in full because the table was reserved.

Work already started

A diagnostic desk that has been sat is complete work. We do not unwind that hour. If a tutor has already marked your pages in a private sitting, that fee stands.

Purchased materials

Bound profile packs and academy legends included in a fee are yours after the first evening. We do not buy them back. Spare pencils and tracing paper used in the studio are included in the studio fee and are not itemised for return.

Process, method, and timing

Approved refunds go back by the same method you used to pay the desk (bank transfer or cash receipt). We do not send refunds to a third person. Processing is usually ten working days after we accept the request, longer if the bank needs a matching name on the account.

Rescheduling

One free move to a later intensive or studio in the same season is allowed if you ask before the seven-day (or 48-hour) cut-off and if a chair exists. After that cut-off, a move is treated as a cancellation plus a new booking.

Cancellation by the academy

If we cancel a sitting (tutor illness, building closure), you may take a full refund or move to the next equivalent sitting. We do not add compensation beyond the fee paid for that sitting.

Deposits

Intensives and circles ask for a 30 percent deposit to hold a chair. The balance is due on the first evening. Desks and single Saturdays are paid in full when the slot is confirmed, unless the desk agrees otherwise in the confirmation email.

No-shows

If you do not arrive and do not write before the sitting starts, the fee is earned. For intensives, a missed evening without notice is forfeited; you may still attend remaining evenings that you have paid for.

Exceptions

Serious documented illness or bereavement can be discussed; we may offer a move rather than cash when the pack has already been printed with your name. We do not refund because a market moved, because a sitting felt difficult, or because you wanted live trading in the room.
